Anti-Regime Demonstrations - Iran

This past Monday there were once again large anti-regime demonstrations across Iran which were met with the brutality of the Islamic Republic's savage security forces. Hundreds of thousands of Iranians braving the regimes thugs shouted "Death to the dictator!" [marg bar diktator], "Death to Khameini!" [marg bar khameini], "Either Freedom or Death!" [ya marg ya azadi] and "I will fight, I will die, I will regain Iran!" [mijangam, mimiram, irano pas migiram].

There are two confirmed deaths in which the regime's security forces gunned down two Iranian student demonstrators: Sane Jaleh and Mohammad Mokhtari. There have been calls for demonstrations today (Sunday 20 Feb) which marks the 7th day since these two students were killed by the Islamic Regime.

What we have learned in the past 32 years that this hell-sent regime has been in power is that when people are united they can overcome any oppressive force. This unity has been solidifying and I hope that we are at a tipping point where the aspirations of the Iranians nation - for a free, democratic, and secular government - will be achieved.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad revealed to have Jewish roots

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's vitriolic attacks on the Jewish world hide an astonishing secret, evidence uncovered by The Daily Telegraph shows.

Published: 7:30AM BST 03 Oct 2009

A photograph of the Iranian president holding up his identity card during elections in March 2008 clearly shows his family has Jewish roots.

A close-up of the document reveals he was previously known as Sabourjian – a Jewish name meaning cloth weaver.

The short note scrawled on the card suggests his family changed its name to Ahmadinejad when they converted to embrace Islam after his birth.

The Sabourjians traditionally hail from Aradan, Mr Ahmadinejad's birthplace, and the name derives from "weaver of the Sabour", the name for the Jewish Tallit shawl in Persia. The name is even on the list of reserved names for Iranian Jews compiled by Iran's Ministry of the Interior.

Experts last night suggested Mr Ahmadinejad's track record for hate-filled attacks on Jews could be an overcompensation to hide his past.

Ali Nourizadeh, of the Centre for Arab and Iranian Studies, said: "This aspect of Mr Ahmadinejad's background explains a lot about him.

"Every family that converts into a different religion takes a new identity by condemning their old faith.

"By making anti-Israeli statements he is trying to shed any suspicions about his Jewish connections. He feels vulnerable in a radical Shia society."

A London-based expert on Iranian Jewry said that "jian" ending to the name specifically showed the family had been practising Jews.

"He has changed his name for religious reasons, or at least his parents had," said the Iranian-born Jew living in London. "Sabourjian is well known Jewish name in Iran."

A spokesman for the Israeli embassy in London said it would not be drawn on Mr Ahmadinejad's background. "It's not something we'd talk about," said Ron Gidor, a spokesman.

The Iranian leader has not denied his name was changed when his family moved to Tehran in the 1950s. But he has never revealed what it was change from or directly addressed the reason for the switch.

Relatives have previously said a mixture of religious reasons and economic pressures forced his blacksmith father Ahmad to change when Mr Ahmadinejad was aged four.

The Iranian president grew up to be a qualified engineer with a doctorate in traffic management. He served in the Revolutionary Guards militia before going on to make his name in hardline politics in the capital.

During this year's presidential debate on television he was goaded to admit that his name had changed but he ignored the jibe.

However Mehdi Khazali, an internet blogger, who called for an investigation of Mr Ahmadinejad's roots was arrested this summer.

Mr Ahmadinejad has regularly levelled bitter criticism at Israel, questioned its right to exist and denied the Holocaust. British diplomats walked out of a UN meeting last month after the Iranian president denounced Israel's 'genocide, barbarism and racism.'

Benjamin Netanyahu made an impassioned denunciation of the Iranian leader at the same UN summit. "Yesterday, the man who calls the Holocaust a lie spoke from this podium," he said. "A mere six decades after the Holocaust, you give legitimacy to a man who denies the murder of six million Jews while promising to wipe out the State of Israel, the State of the Jews. What a disgrace. What a mockery of the charter of the United Nations."

Mr Ahmadinejad has been consistently outspoken about the Nazi attempt to wipe out the Jewish race. "They have created a myth today that they call the massacre of Jews and they consider it a principle above God, religions and the prophets," he declared at a conference on the holocaust staged in Tehran in 2006.

Will there be an IRI 5.0?!

The Supreme Leader of the terrorist Islamic Republic occupying Iran have a laugh on how well they have fooled the Iranian nation and western audience with the idea of presenting their terrorist theocratic system with the notion that there exists a "conservative" and "reformist" faction within this very system, when in fact both these actors (reformist/conservative) are die-hard loyalists sworn to protect the very same terrorist regime and its anti-Iranian foundations!

The terrorist Islamic Republic occupying Iran is gearing up to fool the Iranian nation once again with promises of "reform". Mullah Khatami, the Islamic Republic's smiley-face, has recently announced his candidature for the Islamic Republic's sham elections. The Islamic Republic is once again playing their "reformist" card and the western media will be all over it once again with statements describing Mullah Khatami as "modernist", "reformist", "liberal", "progressive" etc. fooling their naive audiences with such utter nonsense. What is imperative now though is to see if the Islamic Republic succeeds once again in making a fool out of the Iranian nation or if Iranians have learned their lesson by now - which is that no faction of this terrorist ILLEGAL OCCUPYING force is legitimate nor do they exist to serve the best interest of the Iranian people. What should be pretty darn clear by now is that the only good mullah is one buried 6ft below the ground! Although the results of their sham elections are rigged and pre-determined, with candidates being handpicked by the regime, a strong statement in the form of visible boycotts/protests/demonstrations against this terrorist regime's daring game's will send a strong message to the western audience and the regime itself that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. If not Iranians should prepare themselves to continue living as prisoners in their own country, as they have for the past 30 years, and stay idle as the terrorist Islamic Republic executes political activists, continues to destroy Iranian cultural heritage, degrade Iranian women to a 2nd rate citizens, etc etc...

Anbanou / Shahbanou

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

"Shahbanou" is a persian term for "Empress" (Shah = Emperor / Banou = Lady). This is the title bestowed upon the current Iranian Empress (in exile) Farah Pahlavi (right in picture).

Iranians under Arabo-Muslim occupation are referring to the President of the occupational Islamic Republic's (AhmadiNejad) wife as "Anbanou" (left in picture). "An" which is a persian for "excrement" is a term Iranians have bestowed upon and use to refer to the occupational Islamic Republic's President AhmadiNejad. "Anbanou" recently came out of the miserable hole which AhmadiNejad keeps her in and made some comments about providing aid to palestinians, in which the above exclusive photo of this reclusive muslim specie was made.

"Antar" is another persian term meaning "monkey" which is also used to refer to AhmadiNejad due to his close resemblance to a monkey. Yet another term is "Ahmagh", meaning idiot, which fused with AhmadiNejad's name makes "AhmaghiNejad (Ahmagh = Idiot / Nejad = offspring/descendant/race = Descendant of Idiot). These are but a few references which Iranians use to refer to these inhumane anti-Iranian muslim creatures, thus you should not be surprised if you hear an Iranian refer to AhmadiNejad as "President AN", "Antar", "AhmaghiNejad" or his wife as "Anbanou" etc........

Hopefully in the near future Iranians will cleanse Iranian society of all these an's, antar's, & ahmagh's!!!

Tehran University students "Death to Dicator" ref. AhmadiNejad

On October 8 this week Mahmoud AhmadiNejad the President of the occupational Islamic Republic arrived at Tehran University were he was scheduled to give a speech. Heavy security and screening processes was in place to ensure that the few students allowed into the auditorium were regime-loyalists or basiji (a paramilitary organization consisting mainly of young disenchanted/indoctrinated villagers) so that no disruptions or complications need take place during the speech; knowing full well that if Iranian students were allowed into the auditorium there would not only be a security risk towards the Islamic Republic's president but also the fact that students would be able to pose obviously relevant questions which the regime to date has not been ready to answer (regarding the non-existence of freedom and democracy in Iran etc).

Under the heavy presence of the terrorist Islamic Republic's armed security forces hundreds if not up to a thousand of Tehran University students were showcasing their public rejection of the illegal/occupational Islamic regime and its President Mahmoud AhmadiNejad within the university premises - the students were not allowed to leave the University premises but were locked onto campus. As Potkin says in his entry - the university was under a military siege as AhamdiNejad addressed his supporters.

Some of the chants, slogans, and poster's by the Iranian students were:

"Death to Dictator", "Free imprisoned students", "We have questions too, Why only Columbia?" , "Here is Columbia too", "In Columbia yes, in Tehran no?", "Mahmoud Ahmadinejad source of poverty and corruption", "Freedom is our definite right", "Fashist government should be destroyed", "Shame on the regime leave the university", "student torture is condemned". "we don't want dictator regime, we don't want mercenary police", "political prisoners must be freed", "shame on police, leave the university", "Fashist president, university is not your place".

The importance of this event was once again forgotten of or given minimalist attention to by the western media outlets who even then downplayed the size of the demonstration to a "handful" or "around 100". Again let the videos and pictures of the event tell the true story for all to see:

Economic disaster in Iran

Iran and the Revolution's Economic Malaise

September 13, 2007

We did not make the revolution to lower the price of watermelons”. Ayatollah Khoeimini’s observation was prescient.

The revolutionary era that began in 1979 has proved an economic catastrophe for Iran. US sanctions, colossal capital flight both under the Shah and the clerical regime, gasoline subsidies, erratic policy making, corruption, mismanagement of state companies, the economic monopolies of the bonyads (foundations) and the Revolutionary Guards, the international banking credit freeze engineered by US Treasury and the devastation from the war with Saddam’s Iraq have all contributed to Iran’s economic sclerosis.

Even though Iran earns more than $40 billion in oil revenues, Bank Markazi has $60 billion in central bank reserves and NIOC pumps more oil than any state owned oil company in the Gulf other than Saudi Aramco, the economic metrics of revolutionary Iran are pathetic. The state influences 80 per cent of the Iranian economy. Iran pumps a third less oil in 2007 than in the last year of Reza Shah Pahlavi’s reign in 1978. The jobless rate is estimated above 25 per cent. Gasoline rationing, unpaid wages low teacher salaries have triggered riots and street protests. Iran barely attracts $1 billion in FDI, one tenth the level of Turkey or Egypt, both comparable economies. The stock market has crashed since the election of President Ahmedinijad and his subsequent attack on the economic reforms and the business elite of the Khatami and Rafsanjani era. Iran’s uranium enrichment programme has only provoked US sanctions and deepened its international isolation. Even though Iran enjoyed a petrodollar windfall with $75 crude oil, no less than 150,000 Iranian university graduates emigrate each year and wealthy Iranians are desperate to find offshore nest eggs for hidden cash.

President Ahmedinijad campaigned on a platform of economic populism, fulminating against “oil mafias” and “capital speculators”, the cynical elite of past-Shah Iran, often the progeny of top Iranian officials and clerics. Yet the president’s erratic decisions have only worsened Iran’s economic malaise. Ahmedinijad ordered banks to slash interest rates during a time of high inflation without even consulting the governor of central bank or the minister of planning. The president also ordered the minimum wage to be increased by 50 per cent, thus ensuring that endemic unemployment became worse. His calls for “justice shares” for the poor in Iran’s state owned companies have been the kiss of death for the private sector’s interest in the regimes embryonic but deeply flawed privatisation programme.

Ahmedinijad has also strengthened the economic power of the Revolutionary Guards, awarding them valuable concessions, monopolies and a $2.3 billion contract to develop the South Pars natural gas oilfields. Now that the Bush White House has designed the Revolutionary Guards a terrorist organisation, vast swathes of the Iranian economy are off limits to foreign investors. International banks UBS, Deutsche, HSBC, Credit Suisse and Barclays have also ended their financial ties to Iran under American pressure. The US Treasury has also blackballed Bank Saderat and Bank Sepah from the international money markets, accusing the banks of financing arms shipments to Hezbollah and nuclear component smuggling.

Iran’s economic failure cannot be blamed on President Ahmedinijad alone. US sanctions have prevented Iran from importing American technology to develop its industrial base or oil infrastructure. While oil sales account for 80 per cent of Iranian exports, Teheran’s buyback terms and corrupt bureaucrats have inhibited production joint ventures with even Indian, Chinese and Russian oil companies.

The IMF estimates that Iran state subsidies on gasoline, food, housing, bank credit and fertiliser account for 25 per cent of GDP, a recipe for economic disaster. Government spending in Iran has gone ballistic with the rise in crude oil prices. The gasoline subsidy ensures Iran has the cheapest petrol in the world, a major factor that explains Teheran’s clogged traffic, pollution and oil smuggling syndicates. The billions of dollars Iran wastes in subsidising gasoline should have been used to build local refining capacity or upgrade ageing oilfields in a rational world but the economics of revolutionary Iran is anything but rational.

The state owned foundations (bonyads) wield extraordinary power in Iran, owning hundreds of companies whose output is 25 per cent of the national GDP. They enjoy tax subsidies and preferential access to the banking system that enable them to simply “crowd out” the private sector. Privatisation in Iran has proved an illusion, a mere reshuffle of state assets among companies owned by rival fractions in the theocratic elites of Qom and Teheran. It is ironic that though the merchants of the Teheran bazaars were the financiers of Ayatollah Khomeini in the last decade of the Shah’s regime and the pistachio magnate Ali Akber Hashemi Rafsanjani became the president of Iran and is still the regime’s eminence grise and power broker, no pro-business political party exists in Iran’s political constellation. The arbitrary intervention and quixotic decision making of President Ahmedinijad has dealt a serious blow to investor confidence. Iran’s economic failure is all the more poignant given the financial success and wealth creation in the GCC. The economic malaise of revolutionary Iran has hit its young hardest, 800,000 of who graduate from university each year in an anemic job market. This is a political time bomb for the regime in the years ahead.

Iranian students warn AhmadiNejad and the Islamist establishment that they cannot stop them!

"Aghaye Ahmadinejad! Ma tormoze ghatare jonbeshe daneshjooyi ra kandeim!

Iranian students have been holding protests against the illegal detentions of tens of their fellow students, apprehended by Islamist security forces on charges relating to "endangering national security"!

The above placard reads: "Mr AhmadiNejad! We have torn off the brakes of the students movements' train!". This is in reply to the occupying Islamic Republic's statements that "the regime's nuclear technology progress is like a train whose brakes have been removed"!

It's a very tense time in Iran with workers, students, academics... being arrested on charges of "endangering national security" and things will only get tenser from here on. Next month is the anniversary of the savage and unprecedented attack on Tehran University students (July 9, 1999) who were attacked in their sleep by club/knife wielding Islamists of the state apparatus, leading to several deaths! This event sparked the largest anti-regime demonstrations ever experienced in the 28 year long Islamist occupation and has been marked each year with demonstrations by student-activists.

More power to the Iranian freedom movement.

Akhe Ta Key?!

AhmadiNejad before being selected President of the terrorist Islamic Republic in a television interview clearly states: "has our nation's problems really come down to what women wear? has it really...aren't there more important issues?...".

Now if you follow Iranian affaires you should be acquainted with what kind of charlatans and liers these animals are.

My good compatriot Mani Turkzadeh asks his audience "until when will you IRANIAN let them treat your sisters like this; until when...". Let me add to that and ask the international community until when will you keep quiet about the atrocities in Iran; until when...

This week in the land occupied by mullah's...

Once called the Land of King's...once the land of Aryans...once the land of Noblemen...once the land of Iranians...has today been reduced to "Land of Mullah's and Terrorists" in the span of 27 years?!?!

President AN of the Islamic Republic occupying Iran has ordered Iranians to make more babies that can be indoctrinated into Islamic ideals and eventually become good terrorists! This is a land where the Mullah's own parliamentarians say that:

"90 percent of the population are living under the poverty line and only ten percent of the people have access to social services provided by the government" - Islamic Republic's parliamentarian from Urumiyeh (northwest Iran); Mohammad Abbaspour [CLICK HERE for full article]

Whilst the Islamic Republic's own public servants put the number of people living UNDER the poverty line at 90%, the United States' CIA's figure stand ONLY at 40%!

Official unemployment figures by the Islamic Republic stand at around 13% with the CIA's figure being 11.4%. Unofficial figures which in this case would be much more reliable are more than double that figure!

Unemployment figures for the age-group 15-29 stand at anything between 31% to over 50%!!!

CIA figures on inflation in Iran stand at 13.5% when again that figure is most likely much higher!

A report by the United Nations has found that Iran has the highest drug addiction rate in the world. “According to the U.N. World Drug Report for 2005, Iran has the highest proportion of opiate addicts in the world -- 2.8 percent of the population over age 15”! Official estimates of drug-addiction in Iran by the Islamic Republic's officials range from 4-11 million of a total population of 68 million! That's 6-16% of the total population being drug-addicts! And the Islamic Republic continues to distribute drugs amongst the Iranian populace at ridiculously low prices, especially amongst the youth - so as to keep them from posing any threat to their savage regime.

With prostitution estimates ranging from the hundreds of thousands to figures in the millions (!) and Iranian women being sold as sex-slaves in Arab sheikhdoms!

2 out 3 teens in Iran suffer from depression! Which in many cases have led to suicide!

Homeless figures probably lie in the millions if only in Tehran there are 300,000 homeless WOMEN!

You cannot turn a blind eye to what is happening in Iran! You cannot reduce Iran to your yearly trips to NORTHERN TEHRAN (rich area) where you spend your DOLLARS/POUNDS/EUROS...!!!

With the above-mentioned disasterous situation amongst a wider catastrophic environment in Iran this ape-like creature - President AN - has come and asked Iranians for a 50 million increase in the population to "dominate the enemies"!!! Does he want 50 million more drug-addicts!? prostitutes?! unemployed?! backward Islamists?! because these are seemingly the only kind of result the Islamic Republic can achieve!

These incompetent and viciously anti-Iranian Mullah's and Islamists have already reduced Iran to a country where poverty, unemployment, drug-addiction, prostitution and a hundred other social ills are prevalent and now he wants to increase the population by 50 million - who will grow up in the backward environment of the Islamic Republic and be denied a bright future!

If you are Iranian and have one bit of honor, dignity, sense of patriotism left in you, get your act together and put petty differences aside! Today we have to stand united against this barbaric Islamic regime that is destroying our country and society! We have to stand united against this enemy force and lead the nation towards a national referendum.

The Islamists will have to buy a lot of condoms or a pretty huge one to "condom Israel"; whatever that means...
