Widespread anti-regime demonstrations across Iran

THIS BLOG-POST IS BEING UPDATED AS MORE NEWS/CLIPS/PHOTOS ARE UPLOADED BY COMPATRIOTS FROM INSIDE IRAN

The people of Iran have continued to voice their rejection of the Islamic Republic and its leadership since the regime's staged s-elections; my fellow blogger Potkin Azarmehr has continuously covered the past month's anti-regime demonstrations (his blog entries provide a good timeline as to how this movement has grown and developed). Today marks the shiite religious day of "Ashura", which the regime normally "celebrates" each year with government-organized demonstrations and mourning ceremonies etc. - this year though things are different. The people of Iran who are fighting to regain their country from this hell-sent anti-Iranian islamic regime have turned the tables on the regime by using regime-sponsored/regime-sanctioned days of importance to stage their anti-regime demonstrations and acts of civil disobedience. Today huge crowds are staging massive anti-regime demonstrations across Iran - protests have spread far beyond the capital and now cover all of the countries big and small provincial towns. Tens of people have been shot dead across the country in clashes between the Islamic Republic's security forces and the Iranian people.

UPDATE 1: HIM Reza Pahlavi II message of support to freedom-seeking Iranians

Here are some clips which have been posted on youtube for global viewing:

Iranian freedom-fighters take over a police outpost in Tehran. One of the regime's security officials is captured and led away by the people. Towards end of the clip there are graphic images of an Iranian man shot dead by the Islamic Republic's security forces.

In the above clip a member of the Islamic Republic's security forces has been captured by Iranian freedom-fighters - there is nothing stopping them from ripping this mercenary to pieces but after some punches voices are heard to stop beating the person. This kind of situation has been norm in past situations as well - even when the regime's security officials have opened fire on the crowd and later been captured by the people the people have still been restrained in their treatment of these mercenaries. How long this restraint will last is anybody's guess...

Many squares and intersections have been taken over by the people. Security forces have retreated and their cars/motorcycles set on fire.

Peaceful Iranian protestors in Cyprus attacked and detained by Cypriot police!

Cypriot police on order by their government disperse and arrest a small peaceful protest by Iranian exiles against the terrorist Islamic Republic - economic ties with a murderous terrorist regime is worth more to the cypriot government than human life and they make it clear with this visible public action of theirs which they do not try to conceal. Iranians inside Iran are being attacked and tortured inside their own country now Cyprus has to add to the flames and attack us abroad as well?! Is there nowhere we can be free?! Shame on the government of Cyprus and the Cypriot police! If any cypriots reads this and have more insights to this particular action please share your comments.

Iran - July Update

Although the Islamic Republic's heavy security presence in cities across Iran seems to have temporarily ended the mass-demonstrations of previous weeks, under the surface the Iranian peoples' hatred for this occupational regime continues to gather force for another day. Sporadic clashes between smaller groups of anti-regime demonstrators and the regime's mercenary security forces continue to take place.

F.D.I. hungerstrike will take place in Malmo, Sweden, in support of anti-regime demonstrations in Iran

Pressrelease: Hungerstrike

Chairman Ardavan Khoshnood
ardavan@setiz.se
Date: 2009-06-30

The Islamic Republic has now for weeks been shaken by massive demonstrations. The demand of the people for the overthrow of the Islamic Republic, for freedom and for democracy has been answered with nightsticks and bullets. It is hard not to be overwhelmed when seeing the massive demonstrators in Iran screaming “down with the Islamic Republic”.

The Association for Democracy in Iran has since its establishment demanded from the Swedish government to end all diplomatic relations with the regime in Iran. This demand should today, more than ever, be fulfilled now when the whole world has witnessed how the Islamic Republic has without any mercy killed and assaulted people who have cried out for freedom and human rights.

For criticizing the foreign policy of the Swedish government when it comes to the Islamic Republic in Iran, the Association for Democracy in Iran has arranged a hunger strike in Malmö, which is going to last for three days. We demand from the Swedish government to break up all kinds of diplomatic relation with the Islamic Republic. We also demand that Sweden take the side of the Iranian people in their fight to overthrow the Islamic Republic in Iran and introduce a secular and democratic form of government.

The Association for Democracy in Iran invites all Swedish and Iranian organizations, parties and associations, as well as individuals who support the Iranian people’s fight for liberation to this hunger strike.

Date: Thursday July 2nd, 2009 at 18:00 – Sunday July 5th, 2009 at 18:00
Place: Gustav Adolfs torg, Malmö

You can follow our hunger strike on our webpage http://www.setiz.se

Iranian students from Shiraz issue ultimatum to the occupational Islamic Republic

Shiraz students give a last warning to the occupational Islamic forces:
"Farmandeye padegaan een akhareen payam ast! Jonbeshe daneshjooyi amadeye ghiam ast! Maa zan o marde jangeem! Bejang ta bejangeem!"
(english translation: Commander of Islamic forces this is our last call! The students movement is ready to rise up! We, men and women, are ready for war! if you want war we will bring war to you!)

"Death to the Islamic Republic's security forces! We don't want an Islamic regime!"

Yesterday (Saturday Feb 24) a district of the Iranian capital Tehran called AriaShahr was the scene of a large protest action against the occupational Islamic Republic.

At around 7 PM in the evening the Islamic Republic's morality police was harassing an Iranian girl for not complying with the imposed islamic dress-code. The girl subsequently resisted arrest and was physically attacked by a number of security forces (yes it takes several muslim savages to restrain an Iranian woman). This scene prompted bystanders to intervene on behalf of the girl, and were successful in freeing her from the Islamic Republic's security forces. Patrol cars on the scene hurriedly left the scene as angry crowds began gathering, leaving behind one of their thugs who was taken care of by the crowd.

The two main chants clearly heard in the footage captured of the event were:

"We don't want an Islamic regime!" [persian: "hokomate eslaami nemikhaym"]
"Death to the Islamic Republic's security forces! " [persian: "marg bar nirooye entezami"]

More power to the people of AryaShahar and to all brave people of Iran who continue to defy the savage Islamic occupation of the motherland.

Shame on those foreign powers (EU, U.S., China, Russia) who continue to support the Islamic Republic and only offer empty words to the Iranian people. When Iran is free from this hell-sent regime the people of Iran will remember who stood by their side in their quest for freedom, liberty, and democracy.

Call for protest on Friday July 13th/ 22 Tir - 6 PM - Engelab Square - Tehran

The Committee of Iran’s National Struggle is calling for a peaceful gathering of the public to protest against petrol rationing. This protest will take place on Friday 22 Tir (July 6) at 6pm, Enghelab Square in Tehran. The Committee has already distributed more than 5 thousand leaflets throughout Tehran and other provinces to announce the news about the mentioned gathering/protest and intends to distribute more.

CLICK HERE for Persian news report.

Also July 9th which marked the student uprising at Tehran University was marked this year although with lower numbers due to the overwhelming presence of the occupational regime's suppressive forces - those who had gathered outside the university gates were swiftly arrested by the Islamic Republic's security forces and transferred to prisons where they will be tortured and interrogated and if not killed be forced to confess to some untrue charges that the Islamic Republic will charge them with.

We want freedom! We don't want veils!

The above clip is taken on the same scene which you saw pictures of in my post entitled: Iranian woman beaten by Islamist thugs.

An Iranian woman takes off the imposed Islamic veil and shouts: "We want freedom, We want freedom, We don't want veils, We want freedom". The Iranian woman whose face is covered in blood in the pictures, which I had posted earlier, is in the taxi after people intervened and saved her from the hands of the Islamic Republic's security forces. You can see this woman in the last seconds of the clip - enraged about the situation in her country that is occupied by anti-Iranian Islamists that treat women in such a savage way.

UPDATE 1: Kamangir who's persian is much better than mine has a full transcript of what can be heard on the tape:

[What is] this country? [A woman to the Police] You filthy people! [A man] She is beaten up by the Police. [Woman to people] You have no honor [that let the Police beat women like this]! [A woman takes off her veil shouting] We want freedom! [A man] Take pictures! [The woman continues] We want freedom! We do not want the veil! [A woman] Take pictures! [Another woman] Maryam! [a girl’s name] Capture it on tape! [The injured woman to the Police] You are not human!

More clashes between Iranian students and Islamist thugs

In this clip which I can only at this time presume been recorded on a university campus in Iran (date unknown) you can hear students chanting: "UNITY! UNITY! FREEDOM! FREEDOM! SUPPORT US! SUPPORT US!", you can see that the atmosphere is very tense and a fight erupts between Iranian students and Islamist thugs - the body of an individual is seen being carried away by a group of people.

As soon as I get more information regarding this clip I'll post it on here. Again please give exposure to these documents and evidence that testify to the growing and intensifying democracy-movement in Iran which is becoming more and more determined in its aim to remove this occupational Islamist dictatorship and bringing freedom to Iran.

As human beings we all need to support these students who are standing up against Islamic tyranny, whether we are Iranian or not!

Hunger Strike by Amir Kabir University Students

Protests against intensified repression on Iranian society by Islamists!

In this video a student at Tehran University bravely begins shouting slogans against the oppressive Islamic Republic as a crowd gathers to hear him out. In a clear act of PROTEST the student proceeds to take off his jacket, shirt, and is about to take off his t-shirt when an "Islamic Morality Guard" (who are assigned to every university) approaches the student and tries to haul him away. The students who have gathered around begin chanting "let him go, let him go". This student will most likely get lashed and fined for his actions if not also imprisoned - he might even be charged with "threatening national security" by Islamists who would see such an act as "heretical" against Islamic values.

Iranian people are fed up with this foreign Arab ideology which has enslaved them and held them back for 1400 years. Many foreigners do not understand that Iranians have become staunchly anti-Islamic thanks to Iranian scholars who have exposed Islam for the violent, brutal, oppressive, and regressive ideology which it is. Iranians are slowly beginning to turn to their true roots before the brutal Arabo-Muslim invasion which imposed Islam on Iranian society.

Also to further highlight the unbarable conditions which Iranians have to suffer under Islamic occupation, a young man set himself on fire outside the Islamic Republic's Presidential office - CLICK HERE FOR STORY.

The Iranian people need all the support which freedom loving human beings in other countries can give them! Support the oppressed Iranian people from the Islamist occupiers! Support the democratic forces who oppose the Islamic Republic occupying Iran!

DOWN WITH THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OCCUPYING IRAN!
LONG LIVE THE DEMOCRATIC FORCES IN IRAN!

Civil Disobedience!

For each day that passes...

  • The terrorist Islamic Republic get closer to aquiring a nuclear bomb
  • Innocent Iranian freedom-fighters are executed by the Islamic Republic
  • Innocent Iranians are beaten, tortured and kept in solitary confinement in the Islamic Republic's prisons
  • terrorist organizations across the globe are benefiting of the Iranian Nation's money to fund their activities
  • An Iranian takes his/her life because of the unbearable atmosphere the Islamic Republic has created; be it social/economical
  • Iranian cultural heritage sites are being destroyed and/or neglected by the occupational Islamic regime
  • Iranian women continue to live as sub-humans who have to follow orders from the Muslim Clergy
  • Iranian children are denied a bright future in their own homeland
  • And a thousand other "bad-bakhti's" (unbearable conditions, sufferings...)
The Iranian Nation has three ways to free themselves from this misery and save their country from further destruction:

  1. Peaceful Civil Disobedience
  2. Violent Disobedience
  3. A combination of the two above
Personally I believe in the third choice as being the one that can once and for all eliminate this occupational force that has hijacked our country for 27 years. I believe in the third option because we should always have that option of violent disobedience to protect ourselves if we are faced with such a situation that requires it, we need to be prepared for all eventualities, but in general if civil disobedience is implemented correctly the chance of the blood of our compatriots being spilled will be reduced greatly.

The Iranian opposition (abroad) needs to form its Central Command with immedieate effect! It has been 27 years now that infighting between 1001 different groups has been going on but ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! During these 27 years Over a million Iranians have lost their lives at the hands of the Islamic Republic. An 8 year long war, executions, torture, and oppression is what the Islamic Republic has brought upon this nation during the past 27 years and believe me they will continue down this path if given the chance! The democratic Iranian opposition abroad needs to unite and form an Overthrow Committee or Transitional Government in exile.

I think the Crown Prince of Iran, would serve as a unifiying figure in this council/government in exile and can contribute immensly towards this cause ; which he himself has worked tirelessly on in bringing the democratic opposition groups together under one roof. This council/transitional government will fill the administrative gap once the Islamic Republic has been eliminated. It will also help coordinate opposition activity outside the country (media campaigns, demonstrations etc). The council also needs to have representatives inside Iran who can be in direct contact with leaders in various sectors and help coordinate activities. We need not one or two leaders but hundreds across the country! This will ensure the success of our goals.

On the issue of leadership. The Iranian Nation needs leaders. Iranian society is not that developed yet for them to consider themselves individually as leaders. They need leaders to take the initiative, the first step, and to give them courage, and guide them. They need leaders to rally them to the "battlefield".

I think it's imperative for us to have leaders ready to take the first step in each sector of society (economic, social, political, & military) - these are the people who will initiate the change and whose actions will encourage people to follow.

These leaders need to conduct acts of civil disobedience (which will raise dissatisfaction and lead to the "final eruption") such as cutting electricity to homes, teachers and professors not showing up to their respective institutions, writing revolutionary slogans on walls, distributing pamphlets (etc), boycotting the regime fully, and constantly staying in communication with each other "spreading the word". As these kind of activities progress, labour unions, teachers unions etc will have already coordinated with each other to stage mass-demonstrations which much be coordinated across the country. It's these mass-demonstrations that will cripple the Islamic Republic forever (especially with the oil industry following suit) and which will empower the military to join the Iranian Nation. It's also important for the leaders in each of these sectors to prepare those "under them", if you will, to be informed, aware, and organized when time comes for them to initiate the process of regime-change and overthrow of the Islamic Republic; this is key along with the overall coordination and organization between the various sectors ACROSS the country when the time is ripe!

In light of all this the Islamist regime will try to infiltrate the command & control and leadership of this national movement. It is up to those responsible inside the country to see to it that their efforts are not successful. The more "leaders" we have across the Iranian society the more difficult it will be for the Islamists to try and infiltrate all these resistance cells. Iranians inside Iran really need to start thinking about this and planning. You cannot go on like this. You cannot let your country be reduced to ashes because of these Islamists! You cannot take away the future of our children by staying idle. You have to ACT!
