Iranian women during the Pahlavi Era (pre-1979)

This short clip highglights the advances and progress of Iranian women during the Pahlavi Era. After the 1st Arabo-Islamic Occupation of Iran, Iranian women were degraded to a sub-human level by the Arabo-Muslim occupiers and confined to living under the veil. In 1936 Reza Shah the Great (1st Pahlavi Emperor) freed Iranian women from Islamic bondage by once and for all getting rid of the oppressive islamic covering which they had been confined to live under ("chador" literally means "tent"). Iranian women were practically present and contributing towards the nation's progress and prosperity in all sectors of society - education, industry, business all the way to the Imperial Armed Forces. Iranian women's rightful place in society - as equal citizens - was re-established by the Pahlavi Emperor's, as it once had been in the pre-Islamic Persian Empire when for example several Empresses had once ruled the Empire. Unfortunately all the advancements Iranian women gained under the Pahlavi Era were all lost with the coming of the 2nd Arabo-Muslim Occupation of Iran in 1979-Present, during which Iranian women are once again treated as second class citizens stripped of their human rights and dignity. This should not go withouth saying that today Iranian women are spearheading the Iranian freedom/democracy movement to liberate their country from this hell-sent Islamic Republic and its terrorist leaders.

Iranian women in the Imperial Armed Forces

The women of Iran (Persia) played a major role in society before the Arabs invaded Iran and imposed their ideology of Islam on Iranian society.

Pre-Islamic Iran had Empresses such as Pourandokht and Azarmidokht who were in charge of the Empire and were given the title of Shahanshah (King of Kings). The historical Iranian Navy of that time had a well-known female Commander by the name of Artemis; various other high positions of power in the Armed Forces were also held by women.

From the time of the Arab invasion of Persia (around 600 AD) up to the early 1930's (almost 1400 years) Iranian women were not allowed to play a role in society due to the foreign, backward and anti-Iranian ideology of Islam, which through its adversaries were in control of Iran.

Come the Pahlavi era (1930 -1979) Iranian women once again became involved in state-affairs - as the Pahlavi King's reduced the power and influence of the Muslim clergy, who up until the arrival of Reza Shah the Great had an immense control over Iranian society. Reza Shah the Great made sure to reduce the political grip which the Mullah's (Islamic clergy) had held confing them to a mere religious role in which they were restricted in as well since the King did not look positively upon this backward ilk and their detrimental ideology. As early as 1933 Mrs. Marzieh Arfaee (Doctor) joined the Imperial Armed Forces with the rank of Capt. and became the first Iranian woman after 1400 years of Islamic occupation to gain the rank of General in the Imperial Iranian military.

In 1935 Mrs. Ozra Asgar Gilani became the first woman in the Imperial Iranian Air Force.
In 1939 a group of 9 women were enrolled in a pilot training program in Iran and Mrs. Effat Tejaratchi became the first Iranian woman to be given a pilot license (trained with the Tiger Mouth aircraft).

The first helicopter license was issued to Princess Fatemeh (Gen. Khatami's wife).
In 1966 the first series of women graduated from the Imperial Iranian Airforce (IIAF) in several fields including Electronic, Radar, Medical, Air Craft Maintenance, Flight crew, Air Traffic Controllers and Communication.

The first Iranian woman to become a senior officer in the IIAF was Maj. Parvaneh Noorvar (Doctor).

With the advent of the foreign sponsored Islamic coup in Iran 1979 the status of Iranian women were once again reduced to that of half a man according to Islamic laws and were disbanded from the armed forces and many other sectors. Today the immense progress that had been achieved during the Pahlavi Dynasty has been severely set back but the mullah's have found it troublesome to revoke some of the rights which women gained during the Pahlavi Era.

With the ending of the 2nd Arabo-Muslim Occupation of Iran (1979-Present) and the establishment of an Iranian Government, one that safeguards Iranian culture, Iranian women will regain the honorable position which they hold in our society. God bless all Iranian women who have struggled and fought for their rights under the current anti-Iranian Islamic Republic.

The Shah of Iran's speech on "Women's Day"

The Shah of Iran's speech on "Women's Day"

Shahanshah begins his speech by stating that Iran before the rise of Reza Shah the Great had in essence been reduced to nothing but a name and the country was controlled by foreigners who had their own interests at heart.

Shahanshah then talks of how half of Iran's population was for the first time in 1400 years (of Islamic occupation) once again allowed to participate in the country's daily affairs through the decree of his father Reza Shah the Great (Liberation of Iranian Women), despite the efforts by the sworn enemies of Iran - the "unholy alliance of red and black" (Communists and Islamists) - who were working to reverse the country's rapid progress.

His Imperial Majesty points out the invaluable work of Iranian women and refers to their success by them having reached many high positions in society. Shahanshah concludes that despite these difficult times he will stand up against those foreigners and enemies who wish ill upon Iran and go ahead with the plans for more freedoms which are envisioned by the Revolution of the King and the Nation ("White Revolution").

Harassment of Iranian women by Islamists

For 28 years Iranian men and women have had to suffer under a brutal anti-Iranian Islamist regime which has tried to replace their national and cultural identity with a foreign backward Islamic one. I would not be exaggerating when I say that Iranian men have not even experienced a fraction of what Iranian women have had to endure under this savage regime.

Thanks to technological advancements we are today able to document and instantly spread the atrocities of this inhumane regime across the world through the internet. In light of the previous photos that I have posted on here in the past few weeks, here is yet another photo where you can see an Iranian woman that is being harrassed by the occupying Islamist regime's security forces; if you are acquainted with the politics of this backwards Islamist regime you would not be surprised if the girl is charged with acting against national security for having taken off her imposed Islamic scarf! The plainclothes Islamist agent is arguing with the mother of this Iranian girl whilst you can see the other Islamist animal (Revolutionary Guard/"Pasdar") who with a club and a disgusted face is approaching the Iranian girl who is visibly upset and trying to walk away.

All we can do in free societies is to highlight and support these innocent victims of Islamic tyranny by all means available to us.

We want freedom! We don't want veils!

The above clip is taken on the same scene which you saw pictures of in my post entitled: Iranian woman beaten by Islamist thugs.

An Iranian woman takes off the imposed Islamic veil and shouts: "We want freedom, We want freedom, We don't want veils, We want freedom". The Iranian woman whose face is covered in blood in the pictures, which I had posted earlier, is in the taxi after people intervened and saved her from the hands of the Islamic Republic's security forces. You can see this woman in the last seconds of the clip - enraged about the situation in her country that is occupied by anti-Iranian Islamists that treat women in such a savage way.

UPDATE 1: Kamangir who's persian is much better than mine has a full transcript of what can be heard on the tape:

[What is] this country? [A woman to the Police] You filthy people! [A man] She is beaten up by the Police. [Woman to people] You have no honor [that let the Police beat women like this]! [A woman takes off her veil shouting] We want freedom! [A man] Take pictures! [The woman continues] We want freedom! We do not want the veil! [A woman] Take pictures! [Another woman] Maryam! [a girl’s name] Capture it on tape! [The injured woman to the Police] You are not human!

Protests against intensified repression on Iranian society by Islamists!

In this video a student at Tehran University bravely begins shouting slogans against the oppressive Islamic Republic as a crowd gathers to hear him out. In a clear act of PROTEST the student proceeds to take off his jacket, shirt, and is about to take off his t-shirt when an "Islamic Morality Guard" (who are assigned to every university) approaches the student and tries to haul him away. The students who have gathered around begin chanting "let him go, let him go". This student will most likely get lashed and fined for his actions if not also imprisoned - he might even be charged with "threatening national security" by Islamists who would see such an act as "heretical" against Islamic values.

Iranian people are fed up with this foreign Arab ideology which has enslaved them and held them back for 1400 years. Many foreigners do not understand that Iranians have become staunchly anti-Islamic thanks to Iranian scholars who have exposed Islam for the violent, brutal, oppressive, and regressive ideology which it is. Iranians are slowly beginning to turn to their true roots before the brutal Arabo-Muslim invasion which imposed Islam on Iranian society.

Also to further highlight the unbarable conditions which Iranians have to suffer under Islamic occupation, a young man set himself on fire outside the Islamic Republic's Presidential office - CLICK HERE FOR STORY.

The Iranian people need all the support which freedom loving human beings in other countries can give them! Support the oppressed Iranian people from the Islamist occupiers! Support the democratic forces who oppose the Islamic Republic occupying Iran!

DOWN WITH THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OCCUPYING IRAN!
LONG LIVE THE DEMOCRATIC FORCES IN IRAN!

Islamic Regime sets loose its female Islamists...

Every year the Islamic Republic cracks down on Iranian females who are deemed to be breaching the Islamic dress-codes. This year the Islamic Republic has set loose it's female Islamists who Iranians know by the names of "Khaharane Zeinab" (Sisters of Zeinab), "Fati Kommando's" (Commando's of Fatemeh Zahra), or simply put "Hezbollahi's" (Members of Hezbollah). These creatures are loathed and are known for their extreme brutality against Iranian women. They are recognized by the all-enveloping black Islamic garment known as the "chador". Most Iranian women cannot even believe that these creatures are Iranians and some say that many of them actually aren't Iranians - which wouldn't come as a surprise since the Islamic Republic uses Arab and Afghan mercenaries when it needs to crackdown on freedom and democracy activists.

More in regards to the Islamic dresscode - when the Islamists first overtook the country in 1979 they would go around spraying acid on Iranian women's faces and use razor blades on their lips...

In addition to setting these animals loose the regime is also tightening dress-restrictions on Iranian males who are being arrested for wearing short-sleeved shirts and "un-Islamic" hairdo's. Male university students wearing shorts in their own dormitories are also being arrested and fined. Shorts are outlawed in the Islamic Republic as they are seen as un-Islamic.

The whole situation is unreal knowing that we are in the 21st century...and knowing that only 28 years ago Iranian women, during the Pahlavi Era, were free to dress AS THEY PLEASED is just mind-boggling to witness what low point these Islamists have taken our country...

Here are some pictures of what is happening on the streets of Iran these days:

Women in Pre-Islamic Iran ; VOA Roundtable Programme

VOA Roundtable program with Mr Ariaban and Mr Bahrami discussing pre-Islamic Iran and women, in particular in relation with Zoroastrianism. The point is strongly made that before the imposition of the dark, backward, and pernicious Arab ideology of Islam upon the Iranian Nation, women enjoyed equal status with men and in many cases enjoyed superior positions in the workplace to men.

The first picture in this entry depicts Iranian women soldiers which armies from Greece and Rome referred to as "Amazons"; the countries which these armies came from had never seen a woman fight bravely next to male soldiers valiantly defending her homeland.

This topic is such a broad area that a one hour programme really cannot do any justice to it, but nonetheless this is a very informative and interesting programme to watch.
