White Revolution (clip)

The late Iranian Emperor's expansive reform-programme launched in 1963 was named as the "White Revolution" due to it being a blood-less and progressive transformation.

Hello!
I am an American living and working in Singapore as a world history and geography teacher. About a year ago, I dated a half-Iranian woman who exposed the inner side of Iran to me - the head scarf police, the prison stories, and the bitterness the people must endure. I had no idea the Iranian people were so amazing, contrary to the image of their government that you see portrayed in the media - the spirit of Cyrus the Great and Zoroaster still live on, despite Islamic attempts to crush them in favor of radicalism. I just wanted to commend you for all the work you do with this blog, and hope you don't mind if I use some of the information, pictures, and videos in my classes when we discuss Iran. God bless you, and I am praying for the people of Iran!

Hello Mr Smith,

Many thanks for your kind words. You are more than welcome to use any of my photos (see my photobucket page) or information that i've posted in the course of teaching your students about Iranian history - in fact that is exactly what my purpose of starting this blog was: to give as truthful and factual account of Iran-related issues as possible to the young generation of Iranians and non-Iranians to counter the lies and exaggerated propaganda of the loud anti-Shah minority and biased main stream media.

I wish you all the best,

"Aryamehr"
