I understand perfectly why the American MSM doesn't want to support regime change : They don't like what the Iranians are fighting for and they don't want the regime to come down while Pres. Bush is in office.
It's disgusting

You mean to tell me it went from 30,000 people to over 100,000? Yippee! I only hope we have enough people, no more people, than the regime can get. This would be a wonderful thing...

In 1979 the BBC gave all it's support behind the terrorist Islamic Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini who was opposed to progress and modernism in Iran. This is what a fellow Iranian has to say and it applies to all foreign media (U.S., European) who are shamelessly turning a blind eye to the Iranian peoples' struggle against true dictatorship!:

"Thanks to the BBC and the entire British media for censoring the recent anti government uprisings in
the northern province of Azerbaijan, for censoring the student's anti regime protests across Iran and indeed for covering up the regimes brutality towards all Iranians such as the recent arrest of our Bahai sisters and brothers in Shiraz.

BBC & the Brits
Your animosity and double standards
towards Iranians will not be forgotten."

While the Iranians are fighting for their freedom and liberty and are being killed, arrested, and tortured, the EU's Solano is convinced that the EU will give the Islamic Republic security guarantees. I guess bullying the West has paid off.

Western Media turning back on Iranians is nothing new to me. They have been doing this for past 28 years and some time with a dash of support toward Despotic Militarist Fascist regime of mullahcarcy. We will prevail no matter what, we never needed support from prostitute western media and we never will.

It looks like Iran is going to get its security guarantees. But are we going to get ours? We know the regime is duplicitous and doesn't care about international laws. I predict Iran will have its nuclear weapon withing 8 years of signing this incentive package.

Anon,

You can always pray that it will be 8 years until the mullah's get their hands on a nuclear bomb! Is this the new state department figure? 8 years! To what lengths are you willing to go to appease the terrorist mullahs.... my intuition tells me that if you allow the mullah's to continue building the bomb (giving them security guarantees and what not!) you WILL see a nuclear bomb in the hands of Hezbollah, Hamas, Al-Qaeda...in less than 2 years. You'll be lucky if these terrorist groups haven't used it by 8 years from now!

Arya: That was a high estimate given by the IAEA and the US Intelligence agnecies. But I think you're right. It could be 2 years according to some other estimates given by Newt Gingrich. What's baffeling me at this point is the fact that some of these analysts know exactly what's at stake but they still want to offer a grand bargain? What's up with that?

For instance, this former German foreign minster articulates exactly what's at stake better than anyone except Tony Blair but he still wants to offer the terrorists mullahs the "grand Bragain":
