Thanks for posting the video.
If the Iranian people choose a monarchy gov't and want Reza Pahlavi, fine.
But they must decide for themselves what kind of gov't they want and then who will be their representatives.
I just don't think it's a good idea to push Reza Pahlavi as the next leader/king/head of state too much.
We don't want to alienate people who could help the opposition, but may not prefer Pahlavi.
That would defeat these new efforts that RP is making to unite the opposition groups.
This Guy is a Canadian but a Pro-Shah one.
You may want to read his praise for the late Shah of Iran as well
Thanks winston, i'll check his blog out.
C.H. I fully believe in free and fair elections for Iranians to decide their future, at the same time I don't see anything in the clip that should alienate anyone - an Iranian citizen (Prince Reza Pahlavi) is addressing a crowd in a patriotic manner, denouncing the Islamic Republic and calling for the end of this tyrannical regime - I can't see how anyone would take this negatively. If it was a Republican or other personality I would have done the same thing and posted it as well.
Towards a national referendum and the complete uprooting of the Islamic Republic.
btw - do you know who the artist of that picture is that you have posted?
C.H., I don't know who the artist could be. It's a very powerful picture and I first found it on the web 2 years ago or so.
It's the hope of every Iranian to see such a national uprising take place ASAP! And we should all work towards facilitating this great uprising to take shape through unity and coordination.
The artist's name is Reza Daneshi. I was familiar with that work, as I'd written to him a while back, but couldn't remember his last name and had to do a bit of research to retrieve it.
Here's a link for his webpage:
